The Canon EOS 5D Mark II builds on the success of the EOS 5D by boosting the resolution by about 40%, offering 21.1 megapixels. It also introduces a Live View feature, allowing users to preview shots directly on the camera’s high-resolution 3.0" LCD screen. Additionally, the camera can record full-motion HD video with sound—perfect for capturing both stunning images and dynamic action.

At its core, the 5D Mark II features a 21.1MP full-frame (24x36mm) CMOS sensor, delivering outstanding image quality and accurate colors. It supports JPEG, RAW, and RAW+JPEG formats. The camera is powered by Canon’s advanced DIGIC 4 image processor, paired with a high-speed DDR-SDRAM buffer to ensure fast performance and quick image processing.

Thanks to the DIGIC 4 processor, the camera offers a high-speed continuous shooting rate of up to 3.9 frames per second, improved battery life, and enhanced image quality across all ISO settings. It also delivers faster start-up and response times, along with improved noise reduction at ISO 100–6400. For even more flexibility, the ISO range can be expanded from ISO 50 up to ISO 25,600.
