Apple iPad 10th Generation Drawing Tablets
Availability
Description
The iPad is a versatile device for reading, note-taking, drawing, and more. Users should connect only to Yale Secure Wi-Fi and avoid using Yale Guest. Once connected, signing in with an Apple ID is optional and can be skipped. During setup, users will be prompted to log in with their Yale email and password.
If a user logs into their Apple ID, they must log out, factory reset the iPad, and disable ""Find My Device"" and any passcodes before returning it. Failure to do so may result in late and replacement fees if the iPad cannot be reset for the next patron. An Apple ID is not required to use the iPad but is necessary for downloading apps from the Apple App Store.
As stated in BMEC's terms of service, users should back up their data to OneDrive or another cloud storage option. Storing and securing personal data on BMEC devices is the responsibility of the client.
