To sign into our iPads, users should connect only to Yale Secure. Do not use Yale Guest.
Once signed into Yale Secure, users may be prompted to sign in with their Apple ID; this step is optional and can be skipped.
During the device setup process, users will be prompted to sign in with their Yale email and password to login to the iPad.
If users log into their Apple ID on the device, then they must LOG OUT of their Apple ID, factory reset the iPad, and disable "Find My Device" and any Passcodes at check-in.
If the user does not do the above upon return of the iPad they are liable for late and replacement fees if we cannot reset the iPad for the next patron
An Apple ID is not necessary to use our iPads, but will be required to download applications from the Apple App Store.
