Description

The BMEC Loaner Laptop is available in two models: Lenovo ThinkPad T440p and Dell Latitude E6330.

While not as thin and sleek as its T450 younger sister, the ThinkPad T440p is a true workhorse with a strong processor and an abundance of RAM that remains impressive today. The T440p comes built with a speedy solid state drive, a bright, glare-resistant screen, and an integrated graphics card that's no chip to sneeze at. This model may have a few years of service on its resume, but that only speaks to its strength and reliability.

While the Latitude has a conventional hard disk drive, less RAM, and an older, weaker processor compared to the T440p, it matches the Lenovo with all the necessary ports and has a lighter overall construction. It's even got an optical disk tray for that old-timey, DVD-player feel.

Please note that the laptop must be logged in first within range of Yale Secure Wi-Fi. After this initial login, the computer should be able to be logged in from anywhere.

These models can be checked out for 30 days at a time. Please adjust reservation start and end dates accordingly. If your request is longer than 30 days, please submit your reservation request and we will get back to you soon

All user data will be deleted upon check-in. Please make sure to back up any personal data before returning laptop to the Bass Library circulation desk.
