Pick Up and Return
You must schedule pick up and return of equipment with your UP Technical Director. Please begin this scheduling conversation as far in advance as possible in order to ensure a smooth pick up. Please note that late fees do apply.

UP Equipment Inventory items are only available to performances being directly supported by Undergraduate Production. Almost all items are free of charge on a first-come-first-served basis. Some equipment may have fees associated with each reservation. Late fees and replacement fees apply for damaged or lost equipment.

Description

Use of stage fog is not permitted in college theaters. In other venues, YFCC Fire-Watch may be required. Contact your UP adviser ASAP to begin a conversation about the suitability of fog for your event. Check out of this equipment is only possible after a review process involving Undergraduate Production and Fire Code Compliance.

The Unique 2.1 haze machine offers standard DMX, variable output and haze density, and low operating noise. This machine is able to fill from a small room to a hall with a constant haze. With its variable output it can be used to create any desire effect from the finest mist to a thick fog-like haze. The Unique 2.1 is ready for operation almost immediately with a warm up time of approximately 60 seconds.

The Unique 2.1 is controlled via DMX 512 and the pump and fan can be adjusted separately. The DMX start address will be adjusted and saved with the buttons on the display and it will remain saved even when the machine is disconnected from the mains supply. It can also be controlled through an analog lighting desk and/or cable remote. The fan will be adjusted directly at the machine, the pump can be adjusted via the disk or remote. Connection is done with 3-pin XLR.
